Zipline Experience At Khasab
The Oman Tourism Development Company (OMRAN Group) has developed and opened the 1,800-metre dual zipline project in the Wilayat of Khasab, in the Governorate of Musandam. This project is part of an integrated adventure Centre designed to offer tourists unique experiences that combine adventure and exploration.
An exciting zipline project is the first activity offered by the Oman Adventure Centre, which is being developed as part of a comprehensive development plan for the region. It has a waiting area and more facilities. Additionally, the zipline project is managed and operated by LEOS, a specialist operator that runs adventure and entertainment projects on a regional and international scale.
World's longest over water
Riders can reach speeds of up to 80kph on the flying fox, which soars for 1,800 meters along the Musandam shoreline. Travelers heading to Khasab can add a thrilling experience to their itinerary. Organizers say the attraction is certified by Guinness World Records as the longest zipwire over water. Riders travel 1,800 meters from Jebel Fitt, flying over the coast of the Wilayat of Khasab and reaching speeds of up to 80kph. Starting from a platform on Jebel Fitt, the zipline descends towards the coast of the Wilayat of Khasab, giving gliders aerial views of Khor Qadi and the Mokhi region. Riders will reach speeds of up to 80kph on the 1,800-metre journey, which comes to an end at the Atana Khasab Hotel.
Note : A waiver form to be filled and signed prior to the trip at their office.

Customer restriction from zip line ride:
Persons with neck or back problems.
Persons with heart conditions or with pacemaker.
Persons with high blood pressure.
Persons who have had recent surgery
If they are under the influence of alcohol or any other drugs.
Pregnant women.
Individuals with pre-existing medical conditions, which may be aggravated by participation. Examples include people with recent surgery and chronic back issues. Individuals who demonstrate aggressive or improper behavior. ? Prosthetics are not allowed on the ride.
Proper clothing and hairstyle
Customer must wear Proper Footwear (like Closed shoes/sneakers).
Long hair must be tied back, entanglement is possible in the pulley.
The operator shall provide hair net as needed.
Also All Loose object should be stored/ secured in the adventure center.

01.10 hrs briefing and wearing of equipment like Harness. Harnesses consist of buckles and loops That wrap around your waist and thighs, keeping you in place during the adventure experience.
01.30 hrs Enjoy the Adventure Experience. Zipline descends towards the coast of the wilayat of Khasab, giving gliders aerial views of Khor Qada and Moki region. Riders will reach speed of upto 80 kph on the 1800 metre journey, which comes to end in 70 seconds at the Atana Khasab Hotel.
01.45 hrs transfer back to the ship
Maximum in one go: 12 pax, which can be repeated with a frequency of 15 minutes.
